Be sure to watch "How to Change your Material Colors in Chief Architect"
You can change the color of your materials without losing the material texture. It's great for such things as the crackle finish or wallcoverings.
Be able to have more versatility with your materials.
Look in the "How To Videos" section.
The wallcovering textures will also look great as fabric. You can use a bumpmap such as a linen to make the fabric look like fabric.
